Pigmy ant-eaters grow up to 15-20cm ,they have a thick silky soft, long, dark- goldenbrwon fur and small ears. They have a long blunt nose and a long seizing-tail.
Pigmy ant-eaters are nocturnal. During the day they sleep curled up in the branches. Only in the evening they climb around the trees. With their long claws they open ant-nests to lick up the ants. They also like to feed other insects.
